Editor's Note: This article provides a detailed introduction to the first recursive inscription game on Bitcoin ecology Ordinals - Pixel Wars. The author further demonstrates the gameplay, token economics, game guild introduction, and how early participants should lay out, by using the game's white paper. As the game is relatively new and many users are still exploring, everyone still needs to pay attention to the related risks and ensure asset protection during the experience.

This tweet is a detailed introduction to the BTC Pixel War @btcpixelwar. First of all, thank you very much for the news from the group members at 19:35 on November 1st, because it was up late, so the tweet is now sent out. This is a very complicated long-term game.

The white paper link for Pixel War provides a detailed introduction to gameplay economics, as well as NFT, halving mechanisms, airdrop rewards, etc. This tweet mainly talks about how to play and how to layout.

Gameplay

  1. Open the BTC Pixel War website, click on connect wallet in the upper right corner to connect to the unisat wallet. If you don't have a unisat wallet, search for it in the Chrome extension store to install, create a wallet and remember the mnemonic, and transfer BTC to your unisat wallet.

2. Now you can start drawing. The part circled in red in the picture is to switch the drawing mode. There are two drawing modes, one is to use the drawing robot to directly upload pictures to generate pixel paintings, and the other is manual drawing. Institutions can use drawing robots for brand promotion, and individual investors are suggested to use manual mode to draw complete pixel pictures with a few pixel blocks.

3. First, let's introduce how to use the drawing robot. Just follow the steps in the first picture. After making your selection, you can see that the part circled in red is the size of your canvas and how many pixels it contains. You can zoom in and out to reduce or increase the number of pixels. After you are done, choose to submit. Once the submission is complete, you can go to the right side to draw the picture inside. The last picture shows how much money is needed. You can fine-tune by manually drawing and selecting the eraser on the left side.

Most people don't have much money, they can first upload the picture and submit it, then erase the unnecessary content, leaving only the line drafts. In this way, a picture can be completed with very few pixels (a large picture consumes a lot of pixels). If you want to complete a beautiful picture, you need the help of the guild, everyone to complete it.

Guild Introduction

The way to enter the guild is in the part circled in the lower right corner. Friends who want to join the guild can click Apply to join the Cryptonaunts guild and come to my Telegram group to formulate a drawing plan together. Of course, you can also create your own guild. Since I have already created it, I can't screenshot to explain it. Simply put, it is to Create Guild and set the name and avatar.

For those who use manual mode, you can first create a pixel map for comparison using https://pixel.sumo.app. After fine-tuning, you can draw directly on the canvas.

最后说明一些信息,图片最上面的数据显示当前区块高度已经有多少人提交了像素,下面显示的是可以提交的像素的减半进度,鼠标放上去可以看到详细的信息。

Token Economics

First, the pixel price: the price per pixel is 0.00003BTC (about 1U). There are a total of 2.1 million pixels on the canvas, which means that if all pixels are purchased, the value is 21 million US dollars. You can earn 10$BPIX for each pixel you submit. Early supporters will airdrop 5% of the total pixels, 5% of the pixels for marketing rewards, daily rewards for guild rankings, and guild members can share equally.

image

User rankings also give out some pixels every day, only these can be obtained for free, the remaining 82.5% of pixels need to be purchased.

Because submission can get a BTCNFT generated from the current screenshot, everyone can choose to submit a pixel when a picture with a well-known IP is displayed on the canvas, to get NFT for speculation is also a good choice.

Then there is halving, according to the total amount of pixels submitted, the number of pixels that can be submitted at one time will gradually decrease. It is divided into 7 stages. After the sixth stage is completed, it will enter the final auction stage, which is equivalent to stamping this painting worth 21 million dollars.

image

When the number of remaining pixels is less than 3000, the auction begins. Players can bid on the remaining pixels, and the highest bidder wins (similar to the BRC20 method, but not increasing gas). If no one bids within six blocks, the remaining pixels will be automatically auctioned. This stage should be very intense, as the last one can cover the pixel picture in the center of the canvas.

The gameplay and economics are about the same, let me talk about my personal opinion. A lot of people will definitely play this game, there is no doubt. How to make a profit?

Here I will mention some possible hype concepts, the first is the NFT generated by the canvas, and then the $BPIX token, which should be deployed on the Lightning Network, followed by the advertising effect of the canvas after it heats up. I will post some specific analysis in my telegram group, discussions are welcome.
